the Supreme Court of Israel accepted the appeal of Gad Zeevi against the seven largest banks in Israel. In a case led by Giora Erdinast, Ran Sprinzak, Tomer Weissman Efrat Cibulski and Yuval Naim, the Supreme Court stated that the default interest charged from Zeevi pursuant to a loan agreement, made in order to finance the purchase of Bezeq shares, constituted a form of liquidated damages, and should be reduced. As a result, the banks were required to repay Zeevi NIS 280 million, the largest payout ever determined in Israel for a single plaintiff.

On September 6th, 2018, the Tel Aviv District Court gave its supplementary judgment verdict in Civil Case number 10222-06-10 in the matter of Efal Group vs. Nitzanim, in which attorneys Ran Sprinzak, Efrat Cibulski-Bar and Chen Neeman represented the plaintiff.
In the court proceedings, during which the claim was accepted and claims by Kibbutz Nitzanim were rejected, the Court ruled, that the Kibbutz’s claim, that it was entitled to cancel the agreement with the construction company Efal for the construction of an expansion neighborhood in the Kibbutz, should be rejected.
Therefore, it was determined that Kibbutz Nitzanim will pay Efal Group compensation in the amount of NIS 1.4 million, as well as legal expenses in the amount of NIS 375 thousand plus linkage differentials and interest.
