Moty Yamin has joined our firm in 2018 and serves as the Head of the Capital Markets & Securities Department.

Before joining our firm, Moty held senior management positions at the Israel Securities Authority (ISA), and in his recent position, Moty served as the Director of the Corporate Finance Department at the ISA.

Due to his extensive and unique activity and experience, Moty has an in-depth knowledge in all aspects of Securities and Corporate Law. Moty’s areas of expertise include:

Representative Experience

Securities and Capital Markets

Before joining our firm, Moty held senior management positions at the Israel Securities Authority (ISA), and in his recent position, Moty served as the Director of the Corporate Finance Department at the ISA, being responsible for aspects of regulatory supervision of public companies, underwriters, credit rating agencies and crowd-funding platforms. Simultaneously, Moty led projects for the development of the Israeli capital market, promoting IPOs and diversification of TASE finance structures and instruments (such as preferred shares, COCO securities and structures), as well as the collaboration between the Israeli capital market and the world’s leading capital markets, including Hong Kong, Singapore and Canada. Previously, Moty served as the senior advisor of the ISA chairman, and was a member of the committee for the development of securitization in Israel, a member of the Goldschmidt Committee which regulates private loans made by financial institutions, and a co-chairman of the ISA committee which examined regulatory aspects of crypto tokens offerings (ICOs) in Israel.

In recent years Moty also served as an Adjunct Lecturer of Securities Law at the Faculty of Law of the Hebrew University and Tel Aviv University. In 2006, together with Amir Wasserman (the chief counsel of the ISA), Moty co-authored the book “Corporation and Securities”, which covers the Law & Regulations applying to Israeli public companies, and is cited as a reference in dozens of resolutions adopted by the Supreme Court and the Economic Court.
