Profile

Gabriel is a member of the firm’s Arbitration, Mediation and Alternative Dispute Resolution (ADR) Department and is a partner in the firm’s commercial litigation.

Gabriel’s diverse practice includes, among others, handling of complex litigation cases in the different courts as well as management of arbitration in all areas of civil and commercial law, including: banking, corporations, intellectual property, antitrust, securities, real estate, contracts, enforcement of foreign judgments and inheritance law.

Gabi is known as a first-tier litigator and a veteran arbitrator and mediator responsible for the resolution of numerous business disputes, some of which are considered groundbreaking in their fields.

In the course of his work, Gabi has been partner to the setting of many legal precedents in the Supreme Court in areas of commercial law, including precedents related to real estate, contracts, banking, arbitration law and civil procedures.

His clients include most of Israel’s large commercial banks as well as some of Israel’s largest commercial institutions. Thanks to his extensive acumen and experience advising on significant business processes in the economy, Gabi is from time to time called on to serve as a receiver or trustee on behalf of the courts in compositions with creditors.

His key cases in recent years include representation of large commercial entities in monetary claims for significant monetary sums; representation and support of banks in precedential claims; representation of a pharmaceutical company engaged in an in-principle precedential lawsuit concerning breach of a license agreement for drug development; representation and support of high-net-worth families in the management and resolution of well-known and widely-publicized inheritance disputes; representation in complex lawsuits on real estate matters and shareholder disputes; representation of international commercial entities in court proceedings and arbitration and mediation proceedings; management of proceedings as a mediator in complex disputes, and more.

Prior Experience

Gabi previously served as the Chairman of the Arbitration and Mediation Committee in the Tel Aviv District of the Israel Bar Association, and during the years 2014-2018 served as Chairman of the Regional Ethics Committee.
